Each stitch has minimum breaking load of 4kN; after the stitched section rips (from loads greater than 4 kN) the next stitching is safe for maximum working load of 2 kN
After the last stitching above the end eye is ripped the eye still has a maximum (permanent) working load of 2 kN and the entire device still has a breaking load of minimum 20 kN
Segmented stitching has shock absorbing qualities/properties
Can be used as adjustable friction saver with carabiner or pulley
